1-to-1 training FAQs

What do your programmes look like? We offer 1-to-1 training programmes aimed at getting your body prepared for whatever it is you are asking from it. We use a holistic approach when it comes to health and focus on educating and empowering, rather the typical approach to PT Programmes include a full body mobility assessment and programming, along with bespoke strength and conditioning to help you reach your goals.

Our introductory programme is 12 Weeks long and ranging for 1-3 Sessions per week, done with live coaching or a hybrid approach of live coaching and self-guidance with remote support.

A typical set-up looks like this:

Two to Three weekly home workouts of 20-40 mins in length plus a live 60 minute coaching session. Programmes vary per client and depend on work/life schedule, access to equipment and meeting the client where they are currently in their fitness and health journey.

Where do you train people? We operate mostly online via Zoom, but occasionally do face-to-face sessions in a private studio located Stockbridge, Edinburgh, UK.

Do you offer one-off sessions for mobility assessments or consultations? Yes - we have a number of athletes and movement enthusiasts we see for Functional Range Assessments (FRA) and individualised mobility programming (Functional Range Conditioning) aimed at improving our weak or limiting areas. We occassionally see clients for tune up sessions as well where we help improve and refining strength training technique.

Do you have any availability at the moment? Yes, but we are close to a full schedule of clients at the moment, so availability also depends on your schedule and flexibility. Feel free to inquire about setting up a PT programme by emailing us at info@athletealways.com and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

Where exactly are you located in Edinburgh?

Our personal training facility is located in Stockbridge, Edinburgh at St. Stephen’s Church.
